The Story Behind Our Café & Brunch Restaurant
After meeting on a night out in West Hollywood, a young Kiwi lad and a young Brazilian boy decided to open a restaurant featuring their all-time favorite dishes, tasty street food, and the most delicious coffee. Wrap it all up with the hospitality their Mums taught them so well, and Bakers & Roasters was born!
B&R is our home away from home (and home is a long way away). Whether you visit us for a hearty morning meal or a relaxing afternoon, everyone feels right at home at our restaurant in Amsterdam.

Beyond the kitchen, we house a fully functional bakery where all of our cakes are lovingly made in-house. Come check out the counter to see what our bakers have created for you today! Pair your sweet treat with our premium coffee, which is always served as a double shot. We proudly feature our very first signature blend, TAHI, expertly roasted and brewed to highlight a clean and perfectly balanced filter coffee.
Fresh Juices, Milkshakes & Brunch Cocktails
If coffee is not your thing, we will get you going with our vitamin-packed juices and old-school milkshakes. If you prefer to liven up your day, we proudly serve authentic New Zealand wine, local craft beers , and a curated range of classic brunch cocktails. From a spicy Bloody Mary to a smooth Espresso Martini or a refreshing D.I.Y. Mimosa, our bar team is ready to shake up your favorite drink seven days a week.
The True Cost
We aren't known for being the cheapest, but thats something we are proud of. It does cost a little more to make choices that are good for the planet, animal welfare and our health but that's our ethos and how we say NO to the Industrial food system. To achieve this we partner with ethically reared, free-range, sustainable, organic, seasonal and local suppliers wherever we can.

We mainly operate as walk-in only. Please just turn up on the day or add yourself to the waitlist below and we will seat you as soon as we can.
We do have a limited amount of reservations available only at our Centrum location- Kadijksplein 16.
